The green version can take lesser light compare to the variegated one. Depending how you like your interior space color to be. Both are looking great. When keeping indoor, make sure only water when soil is completely dry. Some grower are using cocopeat to grow this plant. That would make it easier for you to weight this plant if it is heavy (much water stored) or light weight (no more moisture inside). Constant moisture to the plant (if keeping indoor) will cause plant to rott.
It can also survive on artificial light. Make sure the light bulb you using is not releasing heat too much otherwise the leaves will burned and bleached.
